For most of the jobs I've done, I've been responsible for the overall design/functionality, HTML, CSS, DHTML, as well as all of the graphic content, including Flash, and some generalized/interactive Javascripting. Some basic php backend stuff sometimes also. I'm familiar with database functionality, but nothing too 'heady' where any special programming language coding is concerned. That's not my forté. I have other people I go to for that stuff.

With over a decade of experience behind me, I've amassed a very large clientlist. When i began, most of my work was done under contract for 2 Irish Web Design companies -- "IWSD" and "Furtura Web Design".

The past 4-5 years I've done primarily private work. The projects have ranged from small personal businesses to multi-level corporations.

Currently... I'm working freelance as a Website and graphics designer/creator, as well as a freelance graphics & Web design article writer for a variety of resource sites on the Web. I've also been hired as "an expert editor/advisor" for a couple of Photoshop books. One put out by SitePoint.com “The Photoshop Anthology”, and the other by Wiley Publications. Although I've handed this project off to someone else now, I'm the original author & creator of a long established, and quite popular Adobe Photoshop tutorials Website (since 1996) - "The Photoshop Guru's Handbook". As much as i'd love to, i just don't have the time to take care of her anymore.

I've been playing a guitar since I was 7yrs old. I also picked up bass & keyboards in my early 20s. My main tool for composition is a keyboard, facilitating samples and sequencing, along with live recording. My professional experience spans about 25 years. This includes studio and live gigging.

I started out playing good old Rock; like most young guys back in the 70s. I followed that genre for about 5 or 6 years. But after a that I wanted to explore my musicality more in depth, so I studied artists like Earl Klugh, George Benson, Jeff Beck, Spyro Gyra, Stanely Clark, Allan Holdsworth, Chick Corea, John Scofield, and many other top Jazz & Fusion artists of that decade. I've always been a predominately self-taught musician.
